Works with Windows VistaYokin's NetMeeting Lister ver 1.0.4

Yokin's NetMeeting Lister is a logon assistant tool for NetMeeting (TM).

Make up NetMeeting UPnP compatible and log onto multiple servers!

INTRODUCTION

Yokin's NetMeeting Lister enables to

Log onto multiple internet location servers (ILSs).
Receive a call inside inside private network, with UPnP router's enhancement.

Yokin's NetMeeting Lister is featuring :

Detection of a global IP address and UPnP compatible.
Yokin's NetMeeting Lister tries to detect a global IP address following 3 kinds of method.

  1. UPnP ( Universal Plug and Play ) router
UPnP router supports global IP address detection and automatic internal port mapping. ( manual port setting is no longer needed. ) UPnP is one of features that NetMeeting lacks while Windows/MSN Messenger supports it.)
  2. Utilize open global IP address detection services
Just like 'http://checkip.dyndns.org/', which shows your global IP address.
  3. Global IP address
If your PC has a global IP address directly assigned, no special configuration is needed.

HOW TO START

Turn off automatic logon by NetMeeting :

Turn off the check box of
'Log on to a directory server when NetMeeting starts.'

Add ILS server address (e.g. "ils.aaaa.bbb.com").
Just put an host address and click 'Add' button.
Multiple servers can be added.

All user information is refered from that of NetMeeting.

Click LOGON button.

LOGOFF to log off ILS server.

UPDATE to send updated directory information.

HOW TO CONFIGURE

Click  'setting...' button to configure IP address detection method.
There are 2 types of detection method which can be turned on/off manually.

UPnP ( for users of UPnP compatible router ):

Detection of UPnP takes several seconds. If you don't need this
function, uncheck this item.

UPnP feature is supported by only Windows ME and XP. Besides, UPnP component must be installed on your OS. Check it up if UPnP is ready or not at "Add/Remove Windows Components" and "Network Services" on the control panel.

* For Windows ME users: To make UPnP feature work properly, you need to apply several patches to the original installation of Windows ME. Go to Windows Update and check it up.

IP Detection Service on the net ( for users of NAT router ):

This function uses web services on the net provided for free. Check the proper URL input as a URL. You have to configure your router manually to receive an incoming call.

This is a must for those who are using non UPnP NAT router inside private network. In order to receive an incoming call by NetMeeting, port mapping has to be configured properly. Assign port number 1720, 1502 and 1731 of the global IP address of the router to the local IP address of your PC. ( UPnP router doesn't require this manual configuration. )

If you have a global IP address on your PC, there is nothing to do configure. You may turn of those detection methods because they take a several seconds or more in staring up.
